Just Announced: Food Tank Summits Coming to NYC and San Diego
I’m thrilled to announce two more Food Tank Summits in 2018 — New York City and San Diego.
The Food Tank Summit series has convened more than 375 speakers in front of nearly 5,000 in-person attendees and more than 400,000 live stream viewers worldwide.

On October 3, Food Tank returns to New York City for our second annual Summit in partnership with New York University, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Hunter College, and ReFED and with support from the Rockefeller Foundation and Fink Family Foundation. This event will gather dozens of expert speakers and panelists who represent farmers, policymakers, businesses, chefs, nonprofit groups, and many others to highlight ways to end food waste at all stages of the food system. On November 14, Food Tank will be in San Diego for the inaugural Growing the Food Movement Food Tank Summit. Held in partnership with the Berry Good Foundation and in collaboration with the University of California – San Diego, this Summit will gather food and agriculture experts in interactive panels, fireside chats, and farmer spotlights.
