Crate to Plate was founded with the mission of bringing sustainable, local production of leafy greens to urban communities. Our founder, Sebastien, believed that consumers in cities should be able to buy higher quality food, free of any pesticides, which hasn’t been shipped from thousands of miles away to be consumed several days after harvest.

15 MINUTE CITIES

At Crate to Plate, we’re passionate about the concept of "15-minute cities" where everyone has access to fresh produce within 15 minutes from their homes. So we set up our first urban farms in London, to offer consumers a wide range of super fresh lettuces, leafy greens and herbs, all delivered within 24 hours of harvest, available by home delivery or at select greengrocers throughout London.

INNOVATIVE AND SUSTAINABLE FARMING

Our farmers carefully control the environment inside the farms. By using the latest technology and eco-friendly innovation, our meticulously monitored vertical farms ensure that greens can be grown locally in urban environments, all year round, using minimal water, with zero carbon footprint in transporting from farm to customer.
