Shreveport Green added a Freight Farm to their urban soil farming operation in a collaboration with local energy company SWEPCO and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), which funded the organization's farm. Produce from the farm will be sold at an affordable price to community members in food deserts through Shreveport Green's Mobile Market.

Watch to see local and nationwide stakeholders — including Shreveport's mayor and EPRI's Principal Technical Leader — and Shreveport Green farmers announce this exciting project.
