"We put the Greenery right across from one of our new dining facilities, Eagle Landing. And when you come on campus it's clear the commitment to the whole-food approach and what the direction is for serving our students on campus."

The University of North Texas Dining Services has earned a stellar reputation nationwide for its unwavering commitment to sustainability and self-sufficiency.

Demonstrating their cutting-edge approach to food production, the University of North Texas proudly maintains two Freight Farms on campus. These Freight Farms provide UNT Dining Services with the capability to grow a diverse range of fresh produce throughout the year, proudly serving the university. The fresh harvests are then distributed to various on-campus dining facilities, including the renowned Mean Greens Café, the first 100% vegan Dining Hall in the country.
