Construction is well underway on FeedMore WNY’s new consolidated food equity campus at 4832 Camp Road in Hamburg. After a groundbreaking in October of 2025, the commissary building is taking shape, with steel beams shaping out the silhouette of the project. The commissary is where nutritious meals will be made daily to support home-delivered meal clients and community dining sites. The new commissary will be able to nearly triple meal production capabilities for FeedMore WNY, with capacity to produce 20,000 meals per day.
Once complete, this campus will be home to a herculean and wholesome food production effort that will include nutritious food and skilled training, an expanded community garden and traditional food growing methods, hydroponic freight farm for year-round, low-resource food growing, and a deep winter greenhouse that will offer innovative, year-round food growing.
The campus will include a distribution center to accommodate FeedMore’s partner hunger relief agencies, as well as its home-delivered meal services and other targeted feeding programs
FeedMore is consolidating its current warehouse assets into one centralized location in Hamburg.
To date, $84,277,116 has been raised towards the $110,228,680 project. This funding will allow FeedMore to enhance its already impressive statistics that include:
165,722 individuals served throughout the four county service area (Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus). This is a 16% increase over 2023 with no major events like COVID, 5/14, major winter storms.
1,478,197 meals produced in our commissary for its home delivered program, community dining, and other business contracts
4,000+ volunteers helping to deliver meals, pack out back packs, sort donated products, help at events, make companion calls, etc.
15,818,295 pounds of food distributed through FeedMore network of pantries, soup kitchens, group homes, schools, etc.
In addition to last year’s numbers, to give you a sense of the historic scope of FeedMore’s services to the WNY community, the organization has been serving WNY for 56 years and has provided more than 5.4 million people with more than 546 million meals.
